This little coffee house hidden away in Morningside suburbia is a total gem, serving up di Bella coffee that would make an inner city barista blush in a homey yet groovy setting.
But The Blue Poppy is more than a coffee stop, it also has a mini menu of bacon and eggs on Turkish, savoury quiche, toasties, divine cupcakes, Danishes and tarts.
And more reasons to longer are its stash of table games, an inset chess/chequers board on the table, magazines and newspapers.
Owner Matt is also the beans behind the Butcher Coffee Shop in Wynnum and one of his disciples is currently supplying Spring Hill locals with top coffee at his project Two Cups.
