Tea pot, cups and coins in wellThis little white curiosity shop café amongst other things has to be the most dog friendly in the entire Brisbane area, where well-behaved pooches are welcome to join their owners – at quiet times- in the undercover courtyard that features a wishing well built by American soldiers as a water source during World War II.

But that’s not the only attraction – the service is warm and homely, the meals (crepes, burgers, sandwiches and salads) are hearty and great value, there’s a toy corner and plenty of décor to ponder such as the teacup tree. In fact the emphasis here is on tea, with high teas of scones and hot and cold savouries served on damask linen with silver and crystal ware (booked 24 hours in advance).
