This chic little coffee parlour in one half of a Queenslander cottage brings a touch of France to Latrobe Tce with its leafy courtyard of French wrought iron garden furniture and menu staple of delicious croissants.

The tiny entry alcove is home to a turntable and stack of classic vinyl albums and the croissants are stored in an antique set of drawers topped with a set of vintage scales while a lacy iron French tea trolley sits nearby.

Coffee is perfectly brewed and the beans hail from Cup Specialty at West End and although the cosy inside space – timber floorboards, crisp white walls and Euro café chairs – is charming, it's hard to beat taking a morning coffee and croissant out front in the rustic paved courtyard under the jacaranda tree.

Flat white coffee and jar of lemonade

For something cold on a summer's day try the refreshing house made strawberry lemonade or a mint iced chocolate and stand by for the café menu which is pending when the kitchen is completed.

Those accompanied by their four-legged friend will find dog friendly poles and trees to attach them to in the outside space.
