 In a prime locale overlooking Ashgrove’s memorial park Sottile’s is a chic Italian café serving fresh traditional fare and high grade Sicilian espresso.
Seating is al fresco on the timber deck or inside a split dining area with suede banquettes and polished floors at one end and stools and a bar for a quick espresso and pasticcino (sourced from nearby Gerbino’s) at the other.
Items from the pared back menu are freshly prepared with quality ingredients, from the Paninis and salad to the main dishes of linguine or Atlantic salmon.
Beyond the food though the star here is the top of the range Moak coffee with Sottile’s one of only two cafes in Australia to import it from Italy.
