On a corner of Nundah Village lies this groovy 1970's lounge which is a drop-in for spectacular coffee by day and in the evenings a BYO tapas bar that hosts weekly trivia nights and fortnightly jazz gigs.

Strewn around the orange and chocolate brown-themed room are a mix of armchairs with decoupage chests, a psychedelic chaise longue and adorning the walls are local art works. Up near the counter, a stand of funky objects and trinkets are for sale, both made by local artisans or samplers from Nundah shops.

Coffee cup with amazing pattern and share platter

Coffee here is a splendid affair, made with beans sourced from Octane Co and presented with artisan flair or for pure indulgence try their La Dolce Vita hot chocolate.

On the menu $11 lunches such as nachos or ranch chicken are served till 4pm and at any hour tuck into sweet treats such as cherry cheesecake flan, chocolate fondant pudding or apple and blackberry pie.

Chocolate mud cake with vanilla ice cream, cream and patterned sauce on plate

Otherwise a variety of share plates such as the 4 variety dip platter or the Argentinian platter featuring a delicious house made Chimi Churri sauce make the perfect accompaniment to BYO drinks in the evenings. Then's the time to drop by for a drink and nibble on the way to dinner or settle in with some friends in this lounge room-away-from-home.
