 Within the Paddington Antique Centre this quaint little café is the one place you’ll find nothing over a day old as everything is made up freshly and baked on site.
Occupying an elevated corner at the rear of the old theatre where eighty years ago folks lined up to see the first ‘talkies’, it’s an ambient little spot to pull up a chair or antique tractor stool for a mid-antique trawl reviver.
Along with tea, coffee or juice, on the savoury menu are an assortment of ribbon sandwiches (try the chicken and flaked almond), bagels fresh or toasted, tuna or roast beef baguettes, salads while sweets depend on the daily batch, be it moist dense cupcakes or Anzac biscuits.
