For those who haven't ventured down to the master planned community of Springfield Lakes yet, here's a good reason to do so – a gorgeous café with delicious on-premise made food overlooking the township's showpiece lake.
Owner Zenda has applied her flair for hospitality, food and decor to create a splendid waterfront eatery featuring a wide wraparound deck with couches, tables and chairs, stools and benches, a dedicated dog tie-up area with tap and water bowl and, to one side, a fully fenced playground for pre-schoolers in full view of the deck.
The extras don't end there - colourful shawls and knee rugs are draped over chairs for chilly times, there's a magazine and newspaper rack and Zenda hosts night time events such as paella cook-ups.
And on the all important menu are home-made pies, quiches, muffins and tarts, salads, toasties, fish'n'chips and melts, well-made di Bella coffee and house special high teas.
