This breezy Hamptons style eatery and wine bar is all about understated chic, from the cream weatherboard walls, white glossy stools, baskets, rustic kitchen tables, mosaic chairs and dressers of wine bottle and teapots.

A fine eye for detail permeates everything from the slick efficient service and the menu, right down to the cute cane handled placemats that double as trays to take the food to the table.

Diners choose from the gourmet assortment of salads, burgers, filled rolls, handmade muffins and tapas meals (all generous portions) and order from the counter. The delicious food is prepared on site and it shows in the quality and although it comes on cardboard plates, it’s all about providing an efficient dining service. Even when there are queues to order, the wait time to eat is minimal and the system works really well for groups who don’t all arrive at the same time.

Add to this the beautifully breezy location with views to the river and Kookaburra Queen, Heineken on tap and good wine by the glass and the result is a little riverside gem.
