This café within a nursery is steeped in greenery and Tuscan charm and is a tranquil world away from the busy road on which it is located. Entry is through the side entrance, via a room of quirky gifts for sale and the café itself is spread out between pergolas with art on the walls and in patio nooks with views on water features (there's also an aircon dining room for the hottest days).
The extensive menu features all day breakfast (omelettes, apple and cinnamon pancakes, the Big Farmers and thick white toast to name a few) and lunch ranging from fresh gourmet sandwiches and salads to hot stuff such as cannelloni, burgers, fish'n'chips and home made pies. And those who like their portions large will be very happy here whilst those who don't may want to consider sharing one meal between two.
There's also a decent children's menu covering breakfast and lunch and the coffee is amongst the best to be found in the region. And while we haven't tried one, the café has started doing high teas.
