As Brisbane’s traditional café precincts continue to flourish, in recent times there has been a mini-explosion of cafés from bolthole to suburban chic popping up in unexpected and tricky to find locations.
And while the lure of the eat street may be hard to ignore, buried deep in the CBD arcade, the inner city laneway, quiet suburban corner in the north, the backstreets in the south, green foothills of the west, leafy streets of the east or un-touristed peninsulas of the bay are some of the city’s best.
