From its breezy waterfront spot within the old Mac Taggart wool store Eve’s encompasses the best of both worlds that Teneriffe has to offer and makes for a great place to start or end a day.

Seating is ‘outdoors’ in the glass pavilion annexe or inside within the walls of handmade bricks that were transported from England on the returning vessels after delivering the wool to the mother country.

While there’s nothing earth-shattering about the breakfast menu, it offers careful touches like homemade baked beans amongst the offerings and well made Giancarlo coffee.

Its child friendliness is reflected in the space between tables for prams, the patch of lawn at the front for older children to play under observation and a small menu of kids’ breakfasts for six dollars. Afterwards they can let off steam on the boardwalk which is also a pram pushers hotspot.

On the way out in the evenings Eve’s makes for a pleasant drop in for a sunset cocktail or glass of wine with a river view.
