CANTINA HAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED.

This is the laidback breakfast haunt where locals trundle in straight out of bed although there’s nothing casual about the food or service.

The breakfast menu here is enlivened with a Mexican twist – try the Huevos Ranchos – poached eggs, bacon, salsa, avocado and black eyed beans or the Yucatan – creamy scrambled eggs with potato, onion and chilli – excellent baked Turkish bread. Then there’s the Spanish omelette – herbs, potato and onion with baked Turkish toast on the side as it should be.

You don’t have to be a Mexican fan to enjoy though. With vintage Mexican movie posters on walls, black painted chairs, good low volume music and great coffee it’s the perfect place to wake up in.
