A speakeasy gin joint style bar featuring a grass ceiling from the folks who created the Bowery, Sling is a hot spot for cocktails, although it also harbours a compact but well selected International beer and Oz wine list.
And its hardly surprising - the mixologists here take their craft very seriously, dabbling in hand carved ice and the use of liquid nitrogen to make their concoctions. With a staggering two hundred odd cocktails to choose from, some classics, some dug up from a century past, some bravely modern and experimental, there’s plenty to keep drinkers occupied till the wee hours.
The food menu of tasty share platters isn’t shabby either and is well worth taking a cocktail break for.
