Although it is attached to one of Brisbane's best restaurants Il Centro, Mr and Mrs G Riverbar is a destination unto itself – a minimalist exotic oasis with stunning water views, made for those occasions when only the best will do.

Shaped rotunda style to maximize the vistas of Story Bridge and Kangaroo Point, the vibe is light and airy and the bright coloured 60's style pods and chairs clustered around Moroccan style wine tables, featuring a stunning mosaic bar with vibrant upholstered bar stools and a wall collage of old newspaper clippings and menus. The extensive wine and champagne list is derived from the best growing regions of the world in France, Italy, Argentina, Spain, NZ and Australia and comes by the glass or half bottle. Meanwhile beers are equally weighted between domestic and imported menu – the latter a round the world odyssey involving Germany, Holland, Mexico, Greece, Japan, Spain, USA and Italy.

Spirits are top shelf and include rarities like spiced rum while cocktails are divided into champagne, martini, classics, G with a twist and light or dark side.

Bar food-wise expect to find the same exemplary quality that the restaurant is renowned for in a host of simple yet delicious dishes such as scallops with chorizo, black rice and red peppers, grilled tiger prawns with chilli, oil and garlic, prawn cocktail, charcuterie or Ploughman's plates.
