BAR BAROSSA HAS CLOSED IN 2013.

Despite its location in the ghost end of town Bar Barossa regularly packs a crowd into the sleek modern space which is dominated by a spectacular bunch of ceiling grapes.

While the focus may be on SA wines from the Barossa Valley – and this is a great place to sample lesser known varieties without travelling there – the comprehensive wine menu travels interstate with an occasional foray across the sea as well.

Those whose drinking hobbies are not grape related are not forgotten – there’s also a decent list of spirits, ales and ciders while those with a passion for top shelf reds such as Penfolds Grange can enjoy a tipple thanks to the use of enomatics.
