Brisbane Bars Review

For those who would walk a mile in Manolo Blahniks just to avoid large impersonal drinking barns fortunately there’s no need to. Brisbane has a decent pouring of atmospheric bars in which to drink a cocktail or glass of wine as well as a splash of outstanding holes-in-the-wall.

Fortitude Valley may be bar central, albeit with a host of boutique venues that offer respite from the seething street crowds, but if a foray into the Valley doesn’t appeal there are plenty of other inner city options.

And while the CBD is suit city on Friday nights, things are decidedly less corporate on Saturdays. For those who like to steer clear altogether of areas where the hordes descend, the north, south, west and bay have some alternatives.
