Momani's Bar

MOMANI'S BAR AT MILTON HAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED.

Momani’s is a magnificent vintage bar on the upper floor of a heritage-listed 19th century terrace house overlooking the Brisbane river in Milton.

An extension of downstairs Middle Eastern and Mediterranean restaurant of the same name, Momani’s bar is a secret world of old-fashioned glamour with grand piano, chandeliers, marble fireplaces, gilt-framed mirrors and a stunning art deco style bar.

Here you can look out across the river whilst sipping on a glass of champagne, beer, boutique wine, premium spirit or a luscious cocktail such as a Strawberry and Basil Gin Smash or a Cucumber-Mint Gin Fizz (the perfect aperitifs to Momani’s delicious menu).

The bar is also Brisbane’s best kept secret place to partake in an elegant high tea served on beautiful vintage crockery, with 30 loose leaf teas or freshly brewed espresso coffee to accompany.

Dotted around the enclosed lace-iron railed balcony are linen-clothed tables where diners can enjoy anything Momani’s downstairs restaurant menu including the highly recommended hot and cold mezzeh, featuring Grandma’s recipes.

Nice to know – On Friday and Saturday nights the grand piano gets a work out with a live pianist. Entry to the bar is via the grand timber staircase in the entry hall adjacent to Momani's restaurant.

Need to know -  There’s plenty of free parking in the car park adjacent and in the basement of next door apart-hotel Cosmo (those with dinner bookings can call beforehand to get the parking code). The Milton Rivercat stop is also just across the road and it’s just 5 mins walk from Milton Station.
