Mureille Vuilleumier Swiss Chocolatier has closed in Teneriffe in 2019 and is looking for a new location.

Mureille Vuilleumier Swiss Chocolatier is an elegant slice of Europe found tucked away under a Teneriffe apartment building. This beautiful chocolate boutique is Brisbane’s go-to for exquisite artisan chocolates that are Swiss couverture based, and, in the cooler months, traditional European hot chocolate.

Made on premises by charming Swiss-French owner Mureille Vuilleumier, chocolates include Dark or Caramel Granache, Brandy Truffles, Liquid Caramel, Crème-de-Cassis, Milk or Dark Giundaya Passionfruit/Cinnamon/Coconut or Mocha Pralines, Amaretto Marzipan and the customer’s favourite Raspberry Rose.

As well as the individual chocolates, a selection of which make an ideal gift (Mureille offers gift boxes to hold 4, 6 and 12 chocolates, with a range of ribbons that customers can choose from), the signature creations at this chocolatier are the amazing stiletto Chocolate Shoes and Rocky Road in a Cup.

Other chocolate sculptures include the Eiffel Tower, a Chocolate Horse and a Chocolate ‘tool kit’ (the latter is a popular boyfriend gift). Meantime for children and kiddults there are chocolate lollipops and little bags of chocolate frogs, and for grown-ups, dried mango (from a farm in Mareeba) and pineapple dipped in chocolate - try the mango in white chocolate.

And special occasions call for special chocolates – at Easter time look out for the divine chocolate eggs filled with individual chocs (of customer’s choice) and the chocolate bunnies.
