The Cup Cake Taste

Graceville

The Cupcake Taste is an enchanting little cupcake parlour with outdoor toadstool garden located up a side street in the Graceville fiveways eating precinct.

Owner and baker Sammy launched her baking career with cupcake stalls at Brisbane markets and in recent years opened the cute lilac-hued shop, complete with lolly jars, make-your-own toast, garden gnomes and wall canvases of her artisan party catering.

With little folk in mind, her menu includes mini cupcakes and old-fashioned children’s milkshakes and for Mums who are keeping an eye on the budget there are mini-me cupcake and coffee deals for $5. DIY toast comes fruit or plain with butter and jam, both at under $2 and as well as cupcakes snacks include caramel popcorn, sandwiches, sweet lolly cups and bite-sized treats.

Cupcakes are the must-try signature here though, with local favourites the Vanilla Twist or the Freckle Fantasy.

Nice to know: Extra treats for children include the toadstool seating on the grass out front and a box of wooden toys to play with. Cup Cake Taste is also dog-friendly - look out for their pup cakes and cookies.
