Burger Time 69 brings America’s favorite dishes to the heart of Bulimba, with a menu filled with epic street eats.
Located down thriving Oxford Street, this hole-in-the-wall eatery is open for lunch, dinner - and even midnight feeds.
The eye-catching Burger Time 69 window is decked out with fluorescent lights and graffiti-d walls. There are a few tables outside the hole-in-the-wall eatery for those who wish to dine in, otherwise meals can be ordered to take away. Everything is served in biodegradable containers and ideal to take down to the park for a picnic.
Burgers of course are their specialty, with the most popular being the Gorgon Zola and the Chicken Chin Chin. The Gorgon Zola is absolutely mountainous; loaded with beef, bacon, special cheese, blue cheese, onions and buffalo ketchup. Whilst the Chicken Chin Chin is packed with buttermilk fried chicken, lettuce, char sui sauce and miso mayo.
There is a slight Greek influence on the menu as well, with a burger named Gyros of the Gods; filled with lamb, haloumi, onion, lettuce, tzatziki sauce and pita.
But if you prefer a hot dog to a burger, order yourself a BT Hawt Dawg, a cranski sausage, BBQ onion, pickles and shallots.
Add some sneaky sides to your order for a feast fit for champions. The buffalo wings with blue cheese sauce are enough to make one’s mouth drool. Although, the crispy mac n cheese balls, jalapeno poppers and sweet potato fries are also highly rated amongst diners.
Wash your all-American feed down with a milkshake, topped with whip cream of course. Available in vanilla, chocolate Hersheys, strawberry jam and peanut butter flavours. Alternatively, choose a beverage from their drinks fridge, which is filled with American favorites such as Dr Pepper and even beer.
