New Brisbane Food Trucks

Website

Brisbane City Council has launched a deliciously user-friendly website, www.bnefoodtrucks.com.au, to help you find out everything you need to know about your favourite gourmet food trucks.

The mobile-enabled site is a foodie's delight, with an interactive map which allows you to locate your nearest food truck. You never know - there might be a gourmet's paradise just a few streets away and you didn't even realise it!

And what if you've got a specific hankering for say, Italian or Korean? You can search by cuisine and seek out your ideal street eats. By using the website, you'll always have food trucks at your fingertips, including what they're serving, their trading hours, an update on their latest specials, and menus.

The website gives you all the latest info under the tab 'Serving'. You can choose 'Now' or 'Later' and see the name of a truck, the address they're serving at, and when they'll be there. Then there's the 'Food Truck' tab, where each food truck has a photo, some background information about its vendors and their irresistible offerings. There are also pop-ups to tell you which one is serving and where right now. You can almost smell the aromas just reading it.

The Social Hub page is where the food trucks have updates and social media posts, so you can keep up with the latest events and find links to their web pages. It's all there for you in one handy website, saving you the work of searching for individual trucks or events.

So, get on board the Brisbane Food Truck ride, courtesy of Brisbane City Council, which is aiming to activate all sorts of city spaces and take advantage of our cultural diversity and subtropical climate.

Good to know: All trucks are food-safe guaranteed.
