Cup Roastery

Woolloongabba

One of Brisbane's best kept secrets resides behind the roller door of a Woolloongabba warehouse. Well-known West End cafe, Cup Specialty Coffee, opened a second location late 2012; a roastery/cafe hidden down industrial Balaclava Street not far from Banneton Bakery.

Find the simple signage on the footpath 'Coffee' and you'll find Cup. Inside, the space is open and airy with an industrial feel highlighted with touches of timber. The styling is stark in contrast to some cafes but here the focus is the coffee.

Cup provides patrons a choice of two seasonal blends that change throughout the year: the full flavoured Arcade blend and crisp and clean Five Star Day. Single origins are also available and are rotated as the coffee comes into season.

Bags of beans are available to purchase and if you're lucky, you'll find owner Josh roasting a fresh batch at the back of the cafe.
