AS OF 2014 UNCLE JOE"S COFFEE HOUSE IS NO LONGER OPEN HOWEVER THEY ARE STILL SPREADING THE LOVE AND BEANS ON A WHOLESALE LEVEL.

Uncle Joe's Coffee House on Cavendish Road in Coorparoo is Brisbane's newest specialty coffee cafe. Whether you're a coffee connoisseur or a latte-loving mum, Uncle Joe's is a must do.

Inconspicuous by design, blink and you'll miss this cafe. The interior is also understated with plain floor tiles, wooden tables and chairs, and minimal artwork. Uncle Joe's would rather let the coffee speak for itself.

Mark Leo, owner of Uncle Joe's Coffee House, has excellent coffee credentials. His uncle, whom the cafe is named after, is an international coffee judge with Cup of Excellence, an annual competition that recognizes the very best coffee produced in a specific country that particular year.

Mark is an award winning roaster with 3rd Crack Coffee Brokerage on the Gold Coast, sourcing and roasting the most sought after and unique coffee beans in the world. Together with Emily Senior and Adam Metelmann, he opened Uncle Joe's Coffee House in June 2012.

Chatting with Mark, it's clear that he is passionate about coffee. Uncle Joe's aspires to provide the perfect cup, offering special blends, single origins, and alternative brew methods. After all, there is more than one way to make a cup of coffee.

A selection of sweet treats is available to complement your coffee. Or try some of their home-made yoghurt, made with Cooloola Milk from Gympie. Roasted beans, green beans, coffee appliances, and crockery are also available to purchase.

Need to know: Coffee at Uncle Joe's is a cash only affair. Parking is out front and on side street.
