Rosalie Market Cafe
Rosalie
Rosalie Market Café is an absolute foodie’s delight, a hidden gem of a café perched upstairs above Rosalie Gourmet Market with views over the village.
Serving up what is up there with the best café fare in the inner west, Rosalie Market Café uses top notch ingredients from the boutique food emporium downstairs, from fruit and vegetables, to bread, pastries, cheese, meats and providore items.

Diners can pull up a seat on the covered balcony with its dress circle location or in the cool chic interior with art adorned walls and where tables have little vases of fresh flowers.

On the breakfast menu choices include Muesli (Brookfarm toasted macadamia muesli with cranberries or Maleny yoghurt and fresh seasonal fruit), Avocado Smash (on organic sour dough with haloumi, lime and soft poached free range Beaudesert eggs), Rosti Stack (crunchy potato rosti stacked with aioli, smoked salmon, spinach, avo and soft poached egg) or the must try Spicy Vegetable Bruschetta (asparagus, cherry tomato, prosciutto, buffalo mozzarella and poached egg).

Also highly recommended is the French Toast (smoky speck with caramelized figs and honey chocolate ricotta on Brioche) and the Grilled Mushrooms with goats cheese feta and basil pesto on sourdough compagne.

For Lunch (served from 11.30) choices include Mushroom Risotto, Grilled Chicken and Avocado Salad with pomegranate, chilli and coriander), Gourmet Chicken Burger, Marinated Middle Eastern Lamb backstrap with halloumi, zucchini, eggplant and rocket salad or an Antipasto Sharing Platter ( a selection of the market’s cured meats, cheeses, olives, bread and quince paste.

In addition there’s lighter fare available at the counter, including croissants and pastries, wraps, pies, filo pastries, Italian biscotti and mini cupcakes.

To drink there’s well-brewed coffee from boutique roasters Crema Coffee Garage, cold-pressed iced coffee, tea, milkshakes, Emma and Tom Juices and Bundaberg vintage soft drinks.
Need to know – Food is to be ordered and paid for at the counter. Entry to the cafe is via the rear car park behind Rosalie Gourmet Market or take the internal stairs from Baroona Rd street level.
