Evolve Organic Café, found inside Market Organics health food supermarket at North Ipswich, is the go-to for plant-based, wholesome fare, superfood smoothies, cold-pressed juices and Toby’s Estate organic coffee.

Customers can sit inside the café, located at the rear of the retail store, amidst shelves of healthy organic goods, or outside in the gorgeous, garden café nestled in the nursery.

Open daily, the all day menu features top-notch, nutritious meals for breakfast and lunch. Break the fast with thick cut sourdough topped with house made beetroot hummus, smashed avocado, rocket, sprouts and dukkha, spiced scrambled tofu with fresh salsa and kale or Hunter Gatherer – sweet potato cakes, organic poached eggs, sliced avocado and herbed mushrooms.

Lunch-type fare includes vegan nachos with house made Mexican beans, tomato and coriander salsa, guacamole and sour cream on a bed of gluten free corn chips, mushroom burgers made with sautéed mushrooms, creamy pesto, pickled beetroot and fresh tomato on toasted sourdough bun, and Green Goodness - seasonal green vegetables and quinoa stir fried with pesto sauce and served with sprouts, sauerkraut, gherkins and avocado.

Otherwise, there’s acai bowls, fresh salads (such as almond and cranberry with leafy greens, Vietnamese rice noodle and Middle Eastern beetroot and quinoa) and a delicious selection of raw treats like the must try Turkish Love Cake.

Need to know – Evolve Café caters for vegetarian, vegan and gluten free diets. The kitchen closes at 3pm.
