Wunderbar Bakery & Bistro

Teneriffe

WUNDERBAR BAKERY & BISTRO HAS CLOSED AND BEEN REPLACED BY ZERO FOX CRAFT BEER AND JAPANESE KITCHEN.

The historic Woolstore precinct at Teneriffe is home to the family-run Wunderbar Bakery and Bistro, where diners can sample a little taste of Germany.

Wunderbar Bakery and Bistro Teneriffe

Wunderbar, a licensed eatery, offers outdoor cafe-style seating where diners can relax and enjoy a bite to eat, a Merlo's coffee or something a little stronger.  A mouth-watering range of continental-style cakes and pastries provides the perfect accompaniment for a coffee whilst a tempting basketful of fresh breads and glossy pretzels catch the eye.

These are all sourced from King of Cakes who specialise in authentic German and European cakes. Breakfasts and light meals are prepared on site and on warm Queensland days, customers can ease the heat with various flavours of cooling gelato.

Seating inside the Wunderbar Bakery and Bistro Teneriffe

For those seeking German fare, an "11 inch" German sausage (Bockwurst, bratwurst, cheese kransky or spicy knackwurst) served on a roll with optional extras including German mustard, onion and sauerkraut should hit the spot.

Wines from Austria and Germany, Swedish and German ciders and beers from Germany, Belgium, Bavaria and the Czech Republic complete the Wunderbar experience at this sleek and modern eatery.
