Campos Coffee Long Island

CAMPOS LONG ISLAND HAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED.

Campos Coffee Long Island is the largest flagship café for Campos Coffee, found in stunning digs on Longland Street in Newstead, with an on-site roastery, full kitchen and licensed bar.

A new concept for Campos, the Long Island location is open daily for coffee, breakfast and lunch; with tapas available on Friday and Saturday evenings.

Inside, the space is grand with polished concrete flooring and high ceilings with plenty of natural light; while outside is quiet cosy with tables nestled among greenery. 

Coffee aficionados and foodies alike will flock to Long Island with a top-notch menu.

Breakfast, served until 3pm, ranges from roasted pear porridge with honey, pistachios, cacao nibs, almond and granola crumble, to chilli scrambled free range eggs with feta and avocado, and Long Island fry up of double smoked bacon, pork and fennel sausage, mushrooms, eggs your way, avocado, roasted tomato, hash brown and sourdough toast.

Lunch, served from 12-3, includes lemongrass chicken salad with Asian herbs, chilli, avocado and soba noodles, pork belly with brussel sprouts, roasted apple and confit tomatoes, and risotto with tiger prawns, fermented chilli, fennel and smoked tomatoes.

Otherwise, customers can tuck into share plates of warm bread with baked brie, onion and fennel jam, and cultured butter or charcuterie boards piled with artisan cured meats, house made pickles, terrine and bread.

Ideal for after work drinks on Fridays, tapas on offer include warm breads and house made dips, lemon and chilli salt squid with wasabi mayo and lime, and smoked pork and manchero croquettes.

Child-friendly, littlies have their own menu which consists of pancakes with fresh berries, maple syrup and vanilla ice cream, bacon and eggs, or panko crumbed fish and chips. 

Coffee on pour is Campos’ multi-award winning Superior blend, as well as single origins, V60 pour overs and cold drip coffee. 

Besides coffee, there are loose leaf teas, fresh juices, smoothies and milkshakes such as chocolate malt, mocha, and caramel and salted nut praline.

Tipples from the bar include wines (white, red, rose and sparkling), imported and local beer, and classic cocktails with a twist like Campos' signature cocktail Long Island Iced Tea - Campos Earl Grey tea, cherry liquor, gin, rum, tequila, orange curacao and cola - and espresso martinis, of course.
