Norman Park peeps have a new place to patronize - where coffee flows freely and breakfast is served all day – the aptly named Norman Perk Cafe.
Cute and tidy, Norman Perk which had replaced Lash Cafe provides a respite from the hustle and bustle of busy Wynnum Road. With plenty of seating to choose from - the cosy window, decorative timber boxes, benches scattered with cushions and even fairy stools - customers can sip cups of well-brewed Di Bella coffee, tea, coconut water or ice-cold milk (chocolate and strawberry) served with whipped cream while munching from the all day menu.
Breakfast options include fruit toast with mint ricotta, fresh fruit and native bee honey, breakfast bruschetta with avocado, bacon, poached eggs, tomato bruschetta, rocket and a slice of lemon served on sourdough or smoked chorizo and beans topped with salsa, sour cream and corn chips.
Those looking for lunch won't be disappointed with Norman Perk's deconstructed Greek salad or Aussie sliders (mini beef burgers) with toppings like pineapple, pickled gherkins, sweet mustard, horseradish relish and rashers of bacon.
*Things to Note: Norman Perk is BYO – cup that is. Bring a cup from home to have filled for a discounted price.
