CAFE GRENADINE HAS CLOSED TO BE REPLACED BY FLORENCE CAFE IN 2018.
Café Grenadine is a cute, weather board cottage cafe found on the corner of Martha and Warilda Streets in Camp Hill, serving locally roasted Bear Bones espresso and a top-notch all-day menu.
Inside this corner café, the light-filled room with white VJ walls and wooden floorboards is furnished with little timber tables and chairs, wicker lampshades and potted plants.
Open from 7 til 2:30 six days a week*, the all-day menu encompasses breakfast and lunch time fare. Breakfast offerings range from fresh baked loaves such as mango and macadamie, to savoury (think potato & spring onion) or sweet - ricotta or pumpkin) with banana, Maple Bacon Steak with slaw and chipotle mayo or Nduja (spicy spreadable sausage on toastes sourdough with poached egg and rocket.
Lunch dishes include lighter fare like lime poached chicken salad with Asian herbs and nouc nam dressing, smoked salmon on rye with horseradish cream and salmon fish cake with lemon caper butter, shaved fennel and herb salad.
Child-friendly, little foodies can select scrambled eggs on toast, toasted cheese or pumpkin waffles and ice-cream.
Besides coffee, customers can order organic sodas and Mayde organic herbal teas, handmade in Byron Bay.
