Café Brisbane, in the heart of the CBD, is one of the city’s most popular dining destinations, open daily for breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks. Situated in Brisbane Square, overlooking Treasury Casino, Café Brisbane offers casual dining with modern décor and an extensive, seasonal menu.
Breakfast favourites range from sweet – think French toast and buttermilk pancakes topped with muesli, maple syrup and fresh fruit - to savoury: crushed avocado with pistachio dukkah, goat fetta and lemon or eggs benedict with poached eggs, bacon and hollandaise sauce on sourdough.
Lunch options include coconut poached chicken salad with bean sprouts, coriander, mint, chilli, peanuts and Thai dressing, Wagyu beef burgers with jack cheese and pickles, and the popular bacon, avocado and grilled chicken burger served with crispy French fries; while vegans can opt for vegie burgers (chickpea and quinoa pattie with beetroot, cucumber and mint yoghurt) or vegan bowls of brown rice with roasted pumpkin, avocado and cherry tomatoes.
Available for lunch or dinner, try the Tasmanian salmon with herb and macadamia crumb, Wagyu beef rump, homemade potato gnocchi with gorgonzola cream or linguini with prawns tossed in sautéed chilli and garlic.
Don’t forget dessert - there’s traditional sticky toffee pudding, old-fashioned banana splits and classic pavlovas topped with strawberries, bananas, passionfruit and fresh cream.
Drinks- wise, customers can sip Locale coffee, organic loose leaf tea and milkshakes; or pop in after-work for a glass of wine, beer or classic cocktail - martinis, manhattans, mojitos, margaritas and more.
Nice to know – Café Brisbane is child-friendly and offers a small selection of fare for kids, like pancakes with ice-cream, spag bol and fish and chips.
Need to know – Café Brisbane is open daily for breakfast and lunch while dinner is only available on weekday nights. Breakfast is available all day on weekends.
