Canvas Club

Canvas Club is the Gabba Village’s fave casual hang out – a funky eclectically furnished café bar with tiny fairy lit beer garden out back.

Inside a scattering of careworn Chesterfields, vintage lamps and designer armchairs are overlooked by a mega stencil art mural as is the rustic courtyard garden, which is the perfect place to catch a cool summer breeze on a hot summer night.

Being a drop in and eat or drink anytime kind of place, Canvas throws open its vintage doors on weekends to the morning crowd when it dishes up a mix of Oz – think smashed avo on toast or Green Eggs and Sam - and Iberian-themed breakfasts including Spanish Omelette and Spanish Baked Breakfast.

Come lunchtime it’s the spot for a fill of great value gourmet burgers, salads and pizza and as the sun goes down delicious plates of tapas like lime, salt and pepper quail, hot winglets with chilli mayo and paella balls or tequila chilli chicken.

On the drinks side only the best and most interesting will do, with a carefully curated selection of craft beers, boutique wines, premium spirits and fabulous cocktails.
