Red Bay Silverbullet Bar
West End
RED BAY SILVERBULLET BAR IS IN THE PROCESS OF RE-LOCATING TO A NEW HOME TBA.
Red Bay Silverbullet Bar is a quirky craft beer bar in a vintage silver rail carriage, found parked at the entrance to West End’s Boundary Street Markets.
Behind Brisbane’s only bar in a railway carriage are the folks from Red Bay Brewery, a micro-brewery in Redland Bay whose beers are all preservative and chemical free. Not only that but Red Bay do a range of Vegan, Gluten Free and Organic beers too.
On weekends punters can step onboard, pull up a stool under the fairylit roof and settle in with a lengthy choice of draught beers such as Steamer or Renegade Ale, Bad Ass or Taiga Head IPA (by the bottle or schooner) or grab a bottle of Cleveland Lighthouse 1770 Lager, Coconut Porter (an American Porter style ale) or Organic Living lime and Chilli Beer.
Or go for something rad like Straddie Honey Lager, Electric Lemonade (alcoholic of course), Pear Cider or Organic Ginger or Thyme Beer.
To accompany grab something from one of the many street food stalls outside – highly recommended as a companion for Red Bay’s beers is a serve of Tom and John’s spicy buffalo wings and chips.
