Inspired by the roaring 1920's and honouring the history of the heritage-listed building it's housed in, Socialites Bar adds a touch of glamour to Spring Hill.
Found on the ground floor of the recently refurbished New Inchcolm Hotel, the bar harkens back to a time when well to do women socialised. Named after the socialite wife of Dr John Thomson (who built his home 'The Inchcolm' on the site where the hotel now stands), guests and visitors can enjoy libations in a relaxed yet elegant environment.
The well-stocked bar includes locally brewed craft beer on tap and bottled, fine wines, whiskey and specialty scotch, spirits and cocktails. Try a signature Dr Thomson - a medicinal concoction of cognac, Bruichladdich Laddie Classic whisky and sweet vermouth with a dash of bitters - or the sinfully sweet Socialite cocktail of spiced rum, pear liqueur and ginger liqueur served with fresh pear and crystalised ginger.
To compliment your beverage, a bar menu offers light meals and share plates. There's oysters, figs and chevre, pork belly and beef burgers. Or try The Socialite’s Delight, a selection of share plates filled with canapés.
