Montague Bar is Romeo to Capulet Bar's Juliet as the two bars come together over a backyard patch of turf on Brunswick Street.
In keeping with William Shakespeare’s most famous poetic drama, Fortitude Valley has brought the two sophisticated bars close together in a celebration of incredible food, drink and atmosphere, with Montague the perfect venue for special occasions.
The ambience of Montague bar evokes the tragic story of two star-crossed lovers with rich red lounges, brown marbled walls like an ancient oil panting, flickering candles, royal golden mirrors and candelabra chandeliers sauced from homes around Brisbane.
Montague is one of Brisbane's most secret and exclusive function spaces, able to be booked for up to 120 guests for cocktail parties.
The splendid vintage furniture and antique chandeliers make this space feel a million miles from the Brisbane streets.
