Polska Café is creating simple Aussie breakfast favourites, but with a unique Polska twist, within the happening suburb of Nundah.
Whilst there are a few tables indoors, the tropical inspired café is largely outside, with tables tucked under outdoor umbrellas and a large courtyard out the back of the café. There’s seating at the sun filled coffee bar as well as couch seating for a relaxed dining affair. The café is vibrant, decorated with lush pot plants, colourful cushions and artworks. Not only is the café dog friendly, but it also has an outdoor area for children – filled with kid’s toys for them to play with.
The menu is filled with tasty, healthy dishes made with local produce (including herbs from their very own herb garden). Each meal has a home-style feel to it, with every sauce made in house. Suitable for vegans and vegetarians, the Vegan Plate is definitely worth a try. Featuring sourdough topped with avocado, spiced beans, field mushrooms with a squeeze of lemon.
Their acai bowl has been known to be one of the best whilst being reasonably priced. It is made in house and topped with strawberries, yoghurt, Sonoma muesli, pistachio sorbet, honey and freeze dried mandarin.
Polska has an array of freshly baked pastries and breads from Le Sebastian available to purchase, acting as a local bakery for neighbours.
Polska utilises Bear Bones coffee, whilst also making their own bottled cold brew. They also have a range of teas, iced drinks, frappes and smoothies. The Soft Peak is a delightful mix of berries, banana, passionfruit, ice, mint, apple juice and raw protein.
Need to know – Nearby onstreet parking is available.
Nice to know – Polska will soon be hosting Polish themed lunches. Polska also contributes to the Food Connect scheme, with plans to expand to holding an organic pantry.
