WES' BRIGHTON HAS CLOSED IN LATE 2018 AND BEEN REPLACED BY THE COFFEE WARDEN.
Wes’ Brighton is a charming and child and dog friendly Brighton café with white picket fence, all day breakfast and one of the friendliest owners you’ll ever meet.
Nestled next to a mower store in a tiny line-up of old shops, Wes’ Brighton is not just a super cute café but is the local community hang-out for a delicious all day breakfast, top value lunch and great coffee.
Affable owner Wes greets customers like a long lost friend, provides bowls of water for dogs, complimentary bottles of water for customers and has created an onsite shaded sandpit with toys for children to play, making this café the kind of place to settle in, enjoy the bay breezes and linger a while.
On the breakfast menu are the likes of Muesli with yoghurt and fresh fruit bowl, Bacon and Egg Brioche, Eggs Benedict and Wes’ Special – bacon, egg, halloumi, hash brown and BBQ sauce on rye. Or there’s also the option to Build Your Own breakfast from an extensive list of items.
A special Kids Menu* includes mini Bacon and Egg Burger, Muesli, yoghurt and Fruit Bowl and Bacon or Sausage with Scrambled Egg and toast, all of which come served with a mini hot chocolate and marshmallow.
There’s no set lunch menu but a blackboard of Daily Specials priced at around $10 include offerings such as a daily Special Burger, Roast Vegetable Frittata with House Salad, BLT with Aioli and Green Eggs and Ham.
Drinks-wise, there’s well-brewed Belaroma coffee, Hot Chocolate, Tea, Milkshakes and Healthy Smoothies such as Lifestyle – berries, banana, spinach and avo or Pine Mango – pineapple, mango and spinach.
Meanwhile in the fridge there’s juice,soft drinks, ginger beer and mineral water.
Nice to know - Wes' is open Saturday nigfhts from 5pm for Burger night.
