DA Burger
West End
DA BURGER HAS CLOSED IN WEST END.
DA Burger, one of Brisbane’s favourite burger joints, has opened its third venue at West End offering juicy beef burgers, local craft beer and cocktails.
Replacing Copperface Jacks on the corner of Boundary and Edmondstone Streets, the funky, graffiti'd burger bar has ample seating including a super casual space decked out with bean bags, big booths for family or friends equipped with video games, plus tables scattered inside and out.
The mouth-watering menu features Da Burgers popular beef burgers such as DA Burger, Bus Stop and Bacon Enter -flame-grilled Black Angus beef patty topped with smoked bacon, blue cheese sauce, salad, Jimbo’s Smokey BBQ sauce and Chrissie’s tomato relish.
There’s chicken burgers including the Thai inspired Ging Po - grilled chicken tenderloins with an infusion of coriander, fresh lime, red chilies, garlic, roasted peanuts and fish sauce - as well as fish, vegetarian and vegan burgers. Add a side of crunchy, beer battered chips, or for something different, fried chicken wings or caulinuggs (Middle Eastern spiced, crumbed cauliflower fried until golden).
There’s beer on tap, boutique wines, spirits and a concise cocktail list including espresso martinis, mojitos and Kentucky Spiked Peach Iced Tea – a delicious concoction of bourbon, peach liqueur, ginger ale and lime.
In addition, there are free arcade games and board games available to provide hours of entertainment.
Nice to know - DA Burger is child-friendly with grilled chicken strips and chips, grilled barramundi and chips and burgers on offer.
