It's time to get out the bowling bag, backcomb, crimp or Brylcreem the hair, and put on those blue suede shoes and pumps for Saturday night's hottest gig on the south side of town, Vintage on the Greens (brought to you by the glamorous gals from Can You Keep a Secret?)
With Golden Sound and the Melatonins live and DJs Mike Ford, Chantal and Cool Hand Luke from Sundae Brisbane spinning the vinyl hit parade from the 1960s, '70s and '80s, the wooden dance floor will be heaving with cool cats rockin' round the clock and shaking their tail feathers.
First off though, there's barefoot bowls to be played on the green before the entertainment kicks off at 6pm then grab some dinner at the club and dance the night away.
Vintage and retro dress is best though anything comfortable in a synthetic or psychedelic fabric will do.
