Enter a darkly magical world presided over by a three metre puppet, where the line between make-believe and reality is blurred and an adult fairytale a la Brothers Grimm unfolds.
This mesmerizing Dead Puppet Society production, blending puppetry, live performance, trickery and animation, tells the tale of an old man who inhabits a dusty old bookshop, shut away from the world with just a handful of beautiful memories. In his past are apple orchards, rowing on crystal clear streams, moonlight picnics and a woman he loved./p>
Now he presides over the pain of having seen the world of magic he knew disappear, his crowded city become miserable and his nightmares turn to reality and stalk the streets. Then when a young girl arrives in his shop he is forced to confront the good and bad from his past and realize a chance to change the city forever...
