Sculpture is Everything is a fascinating exhibition showcasing a wildly variant mix of the gallery's permanent collection and its recent acquisitions, under the guise that sculpture incorporates everything from monuments to installation and land art, found objects to kinetic sculptures and pop assemblages to ritual objects.

Take a wander through the ground floor of GOMA where form, material and 3D space rule and see how these sculptural concerns are also played out in painting, performance, film and photography. International and Australian artists featured in the exhibition are Ai Weiwei, Martin Creed, Olaf Breuning, Thomas Demand, Lara Favaretto, Simryn Gill, Romuald Hazoumé, Gordon Hookey, Zilvinas Kempinas, Anish Kapoor, Gordon Matta-Clark, John Mawurndjul, Henrique Oliveira, Dennis Oppenheim, Michael Sailstorfer, Kathy Temin, Ken Thaiday Sr, Rachel Whiteread and Erwin Wurm.

Of these, highlights include Michael Sailstorfer's massive tyre tube installation Wolken (Clouds), Zilvinas Kempinas Columns and Henrique Oliveira's Xilononia Chamusquius and the long-standing GOMA favourite Void by Amish Kapoor.
