Gremlins in the car park, gypsy funk, finger food mixed with fabulous up-and-recycled art works, jewellery, home wares and furniture are part of the opening night programme at Reverse Garbage's latest back-to-nature expo Salvage Garden.
Climb aboard the Gremlin's just launched budget airline, part of the Anywhere Theatre Festival sharing Salvage's first night, with tickets $12 Economy and a bargain $14 First Class or just enjoy the roving Gremlins, art, music by exuberant West End band Mouldy Lovers, food and spectacle. After this the rest of the expo kicks on during the usual Reverse Garbage times of Mon-Sat 9-5 (while The Gremlins return for separate nightly shows from 17-19 May).
Art wise there are more than 30 exhibitors, including regulars and Brisstylers Dash Robin and Ish Handmade along with Patricia Olazo, Just Kate, A Little Vintage and Manx Minx as part of the cast of local talent turning trash into beauty.
*Except for the ticketed Gremlins performance the rest of Salvage Garden is free.
