A return to the Queensland Ballet by some of its dancers and a celebration of virtuoso dance in many forms – from classical to contemporary – is the premise behind the multi-faceted International Gala.
For its fifteenth anniversary Gala's choreographer Nils Christe brings to the fold his special work Diner Dansant, didgeridoo maestro William Barton reprises Francois Klaus's Timeless Dances and a new work by dancer and choreographer Garth Belling is performed for the first time, with the whole thing culminating in a spectacular Finale by the whole company and the guest dancers.
