Get into the cool autumn evening groove for free on Friday nights at QPAC, when the famed Green Jam Sessions bring hot jazz, shiraz and deck chairs to the lawn at Melbourne St Green.

Here, jazz and lounge fans can pull up a chair, rug or bench under the trees and listen to the best of the Griffith Conservatorium talents cover everything from Ella classics to cool lounge sounds over a three hour stretch that sees the sun set and the stars come out to shine.

Delicious snacks like spiced chicken wings or grilled haloumi with salsa verde and ciabatta are available at the adjacent Green Café and drinks from a makeshift bar pavilion (note this is a licensed venue so no BYO alcohol).
