The first Australian artist to hit number 1 in the USA in many a year is touring his home country in an early Christmas present to his fans.
Walle de Backer, otherwise known as Gotye, topped the charts in 31 countries and sold close to 10 million copies worldwide with 'Somebody That I Used to Know'(feat. Kimbra) while the album from which it was lifted 'Making Mirrors' is verging on the 2 million sales mark.
Brisbane fans can catch this musical phenomenon with his ten piece live band at the Brisbane Riverstage on Wednesday Dec 12, with tickets going on sale to the general public on Monday June 27 at 9am, while Gotye's Facebook fans and mailing list members can snaffle them up from 2pm on Friday June 22nd.
