A secret dining event that started in France a quarter of a century ago and has been whitening up major world cities for years has made its way to the banks of the Brisbane river for the first time.
On the first day of spring a massive gathering of elegantly dressed-in-white people will meet for an uber chic picnic in a public space where old fashioned decorum and manners modelled on the glamour days of court society rule and traffic, electronics and the bothersome distractions of the world are forgotten.
This dreamlike event is only open to the selected, who will learn the secret location only on the day of the event and once there, they will be expected to participate in the unexpected and uphold the rules of engagement.
