For its third year the Brisbane Gypsy Jazz Festival returns to the Brisbane Powerhouse bigger and better than ever, with a combo of mesmerizing Gypsy Jazz and traditional Balkan music given a contemporary twist by the performing artists.
The show kicks off with founder of the Balkan Beats Paris, DJ Tagada, who also keeps things hopping throughout interval. Following on is Les Doigts de l'Homme, an internationally acclaimed French quartet renowned for their blend of gypsy, global music and rock while a mix of Balkan heart-rending ballads and furious rhythms is brought to the second and last act by Loulou Djine.
