Balmy spring nights were made for movies under the stars at South Bank, especially with a glass of wine or ice-cream in hand. And until the end of November Ben & Jerry's open air cinema has returned to the cultural forecourt so movie goers can catch a mix of the latest and retro movies on a picnic rug or deck chair with a bar and food stalls to partake in.
On 'Sundae Sunday' retro sessions ice-cream is free and movies include The Goonies, Stand By Me, a Grease Sing-along and Frankenweenie.
Otherwise kick back and enjoy anything from The Blues Brothers and The Sapphires to The Breakfast Club, Diary of a Wimpy Kid 3 and The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
BYO picnic blanket of hire a comfy bean bag lounger, with the choice and price varying.
Need to know: Well-behaved dogs are welcome provided they're on a leash.
