It's art but not as you know it at Brisbane's inaugural Art Expo which, alongside Love Vintage, is taking over the Convention and Exhibition Centre this weekend.
Under one vast roof, art novices and lovers alike can immerse themselves in everything from fine art to art for savvy investment, sculpture, glass blowing, photography and painting in an expo that is not just for gazing at but one that involves workshops, watching the artists at work with interactive demonstrations and lectures.
Highlights to look out for include the Galleria, a schmick, gallery style exhibition space that showcases and sells work from established and well know galleries; emerging artists selling their works direct; an exhibition running the gamut of art supplies, teaching programs and an interactive stage area.
Better still, tis expo runs in conjunction with the fabulous Love Vintage gala and tickets are valid to wander between both.
