West End Twilight Markets

West End

THE WEST END TWILIGHT MARKETS CLOSED PERMANENTLY IN 2013.

The lively West End Twilight Markets goes out with a bang for its last very festive affair on Christmas 2013.

For the last time in the old side street hangar get into the Christams spirit, with arts and culture galore, a merry Christmas bar, delish food and some 40 stalls of Xmas giftable upcycled, recycled, fair trade, eco, vintage, sustianiable, colectable and pre-loved stuff.

Here, under the cobwebbed eaves a merry band of local recyclers, designers, craftspeople, musos, artists and food peddlers provide ethical shopping, food, art and entertainment to those who drop by. Expect fashion by Alice Nightingale, fair trade goodies from Just Earth and handmade accessories by Lust Not What Not, while Lost Found Made has the vintage clothes and reworked vintage jewellery gig covered.

Then grab a coffee and pull up a wonky metal chair in the ANZ parking lot to take in the latest act, music or otherwise.

Delicious edibles to get you through the night include woodfired pizza, Hellhound hotdogs, mango pancakes, fresh herb tabouleh and chickpea wakame salads and a showing of Greek cuisine.

Children are catered for too, with a craft wall and kids space.

Entry is either via Wilson St (main) or a laneway beside the ANZ bank in Boundary St.
