It might sound like an insult but comedian Tommy Little is happy to be called The Last King of Stupid in his Brisbane Comedy Festival stand-up show, Brisbane Powerhouse, March 13 – 17.
Little’s list of stupid stunts over the years is long and fascinating – from regrettable drunken tattoos to stage-diving unsuccessfully from great heights, and so much more. Audiences will be treated to a litany of his mischievous, engaging tales and at various times will probably ask themselves, ‘Did he just say that’?
With shows sold out all over the country in 2017, Little has secured a spot among Australia’s funniest and most successful comedians. So what if he’s as stupid as they come? The audience are the winners because they can laugh at his expense. Luckily he’s also got plenty of charm, and the numbers of people coming to his shows is growing by the day thanks to rave views and word-of-mouth recommendations.
A regular on Network Ten’s The Project, with his segment where he shares a cuppa with the elderly a fan favourite, Little is also one half of the Carrie & Tommy afternoon radio segments with Carrie Blackmore on the Hit Network. He also hosted the Aussie version of Whose Line is it Anyway? The Last King of Stupid will sell quickly so make sure to get in early.
